What we collect
When a business signs up at tourowosso.com/join we collect what the form asks for: the business name, address, hours, website and social links, a contact name, cell phone and email, an optional logo and offer photo, the offer and promo code the business wants shown, capture scheduling preferences, the plan chosen, and any notes. Visitors who only walk the tour give us nothing beyond the ordinary web server logs and the tour's own usage counts, which are not tied to a person.
How we use it
- To capture the business, build its listing and tour, and show the listing, offer and photo on tourowosso.com and in the tour.
- To contact the business about scheduling, its listing and its invoice.
- To invoice the business. Invoices are created and paid through QuickBooks, a service of Intuit Inc. The business name, contact name, email and the amount due are sent to QuickBooks for that purpose. Card and bank details are entered on Intuit's payment pages and never reach tourowosso.com.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent this information.
- We do not share it with anyone other than the services needed to run the site and take payment: Cloudflare (hosting), Intuit QuickBooks (invoicing and payments), and StrollPoint (the tour platform).
- We do not use it for advertising.
Keeping and removing it
A business listing stays as long as the business is on the map. A business can ask us to update or remove its information at any time by contacting Dustin Mishler at [email protected] or 989-998-2469, and we will do so within a few days, apart from records we must keep for accounting.
Cookies
Public pages set no tracking cookies. The private pages Binzey uses to run the program set one sign-in cookie for the person signed in.
